    • Treat others in the group with respect, dignity, fairness and courtesy and never act or be perceived as acting in a harassing, threatening or violent way towards others.
    • Respect everyone’s personal preferences as some group participants may need space. ​
    • Promote a supportive atmosphere of trust in the group. ​
    • Maintain group members’ confidentiality and privacy. Please do not share anything that is discussed in the group outside of the session. ​
    • Share responsibility for making the group work and supporting one another. ​
    • Participate in the group discussion to the best of your ability and comfort level. ​
    • Talk about yourself and your own experience in the group, not other people’s. ​
    • Listen to others without interrupting them.  ​
    • Be mindful of leaving time for everyone to participate in the group and do not dominate the conversation. ​
    • Do not have side conversations while others are speaking or contributing.  ​
    • Arrive on time. If you arrive late, please do not disrupt the group.  ​
    • Be mindful of the peer audience the group is intended for and do not attend those you are not the target audience of (e.g. don't attend a group for people with CF if you don't have CF).
